Our Culture Integrity: We are honest and professional.Trust: We count on each other.Excellence: We strive to always do our best and look for ways to improve and excel.Accountability: We accept responsibility for our actions, attitudes, and mistakes.Mutual Respect: We treat others the way we want to be treated.On An Average Day You WillDirect all daily sales and marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of sales and marketing initiativesEnsure maximum third-party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies and other payersAssist the Executive Director in establishing agency volume projections in the annual budget and allocations for the sales and marketing departmentMonitor allocation of resources according to budgetary limitationsConduct market assessment and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projectionsEmploy marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary projectionsEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sourcesNegotiate service pricing with providers using established financial and credit parameters approved by the VP of Business Development or CFORecruit, select, orient and directly manage members of the sales and marketing teamBuild and monitor community, customer, payer and patient/client perception of the Hospice Location and a high-quality provider of servicesProvide leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address unmet customer needsMaintain comprehensive working knowledge of Location Hospice’s markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources and competitor’s market positioningMaintain comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assist customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by the Hospice LocationMonitor and report cost-effectiveness of marketing effortsComplete all other duties as assignedQualificationsThree (3) years of experience in a hospice setting preferredMust be willing to travel throughout Bristol’s hospice service areasMust demonstrate an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnelMust possess the ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the communityMust have knowledge of corporate business managementMust demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, negotiation skills, public relations skills, problem solving skills and basic math skillsMust be flexible in scheduling including evenings and weekends to ensure that patients and their families’ needs for hospice services can be met upon their timetables and schedulesMust be a licensed driver with a licensed automobile that is insured in accordance with organization/state requirements and is in good working orderMust demonstrate ability to work autonomouslyMust demonstrate strong organizational skills especially time management, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilitiesWe Got The PerksTuition ReimbursementPTO and Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and moreHSA and 401(k) availableMileage Reimbursement for applicable positionsAdvanced training programsPassionate company culture committed to the highest standard of care in the hospice industryJoin a Team that embraces the reverence of life!
